Merry Christmas to all and to all a good night - for a few days!

Merry Christmas to all - I will be enjoying Christmas and Boxing Day with my family and friends and wish you all the best for a safe and happy holiday.

I'm back guest hosting Nightline BC at CKNW AM 980 on Wednesday December 27 and Thursday December 28 from 7 to 9 p.m., filling in for Michael Smyth.

And I'll be guest commenting on The World Today with Philip Till at 7:10 a.m. on Wednesday December 27, Thursday December 28 and Friday December 29, filling in for Vaughn Palmer.

And to all a good night from Bill Tieleman and West Star Communications!

We wish you a happy season's greeting as well. Maybe next year our governments will get serious about the lack of places for the poor to sleep. Both governments have loads of money for other things but ignore the poor. My Gosh here in Victoria they closed a bunch of beds at Eric Martin institute, so some folks with assorted mental problems will be on their own. Shame Gordon, shame Steven Harper

Funny how people will give 10s of thousands of dollars to save and replant trees in stanley park, but yet won't do the same when it comes to homelessness and shelter building.

Merry Christmas Bill! Glad to see you're keeping the politicos honest. I still do some writing, but the photography is only an occasional thing these days. I'm hoping to come to the Northern Voice conference in February. Check it out - the price is right.
